Terms of service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Legalize It website, create an account or ask us to provide a service. By applying for a service you agree to them.
Our services
We help businesses and individuals with registrations, filings, intellectual property, licensing and contracts in Nigeria. Each service page describes what is included. Anything outside that description is quoted separately.
Applications and quotes
Submitting an application does not commit you to anything. After reviewing it we send a quote showing our professional fee and any government or third-party fees. Work begins only when you accept the quote and pay as agreed in it.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information and genuine documents.
- Tell us promptly if anything changes while we are working on your application.
- Respond to requests for information so we can meet agency deadlines.
- Have the authority to act for any company or person named in your application.
Timelines and outcomes
Timelines on this website are typical ranges based on our experience. Government agencies decide applications and set their own pace, so we cannot guarantee a particular outcome or date. We will always tell you promptly about delays, queries or refusals and advise on the options.
Fees and refunds
Government fees paid to an agency on your behalf cannot usually be recovered. If you cancel before we have filed, we refund any professional fee for work not yet done. The quote for your service sets out the details.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used to submit false information or to misuse the service.
Confidentiality
We treat everything you share with us as confidential and use it only to provide your service, as described in our privacy notice.
Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Our liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the professional fee paid for that service, except where the law does not allow this limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
